World Cup glory is ours
Congratulations to our awesome New Zealand Kiwi’s. Being world champs must feel fantastic!
Belief among your fans was as stong as it was within the team, and the payback is amazing.
We’re here to support the New Zealand Kiwi’s in their quest to win the 2008 Rugby League World cup!
The name of the site (tasteofkiwi.co.nz) is based on the song, ‘Give ‘Em a taste of Kiwi’ by Black Bolt and the Silver Ferns, originally released in 1980, which became a pseudo anthem for NZ League.
Now, it’s time to ressurrect that spirit, and for New Zealand to Give em a Taste of Kiwi again.
The Rugby League World Cup 2008 kicks off on October 25, the Kiwi’s are not favoured to win.
Nope, favouritism lies with Australia . . .no surprise there. They will be tough to beat, but not impossible.
Led by Roy Asotasi, Captain TBC and with Stephen Kearney and Wayne Bennett coaching, the Kiwi’s have a shot at glory - with us and you behind them they can conqour Goliath just as they did in 2005.
Leave your messages of support for the Kiwi’s - they will be given to the Kiwi’s for the tournament. Then get your exclusive ‘Give em a taste of Kiwi t shirt’.
Tell ya mates, to take a few minutes to do the same - if the Kiwi’s know we are behind them, it will spur them on.
Give em a Taste of Kiwi!
